letterhead or website. Never act on wire details that arrived only by email.
Bank routing and account numbers are issued by counsel — not published on helmlegal.net. If your contact forwarded Matthew’s wire email, use that block exactly.
Which silent route to use
Tier S — wire / ACH to the counsel trust account (recommended).
No card-network record linking you to the beneficiary, no chargeback exposure, and no processor
dashboard holding your details. Instructions come from counsel directly.
Tier S-Card — a payment endpoint counsel operates. Not offered.
The destination is a lawyer’s IOTA trust account, where card processing is likely not permissible:
processor fees cannot be taken from trust principal, and a chargeback would claw funds back out of an
account holding client money. Counsel must rule before this is ever offered.
Discrete Stripe is not a silent route. It is publicly anonymous and internally
recorded: HelmLegal’s own Stripe account holds your name, email and card.
Not a charitable deduction. Funds routed through a law-firm trust account to a specific
named beneficiary are very likely not deductible, and HelmLegal is not a registered 501(c)(3).
HelmLegal issues no tax receipt for this path — ask counsel what receipt, if any, the firm issues.
