SGH CEO attribution (2026-07-27): Hand is the Ivankovich Contessa CEO / operational lead — the public face of Contessa marine ops under Steven Ivankovich. This role label is litigation intelligence; public titles list GM Marine Operations / VP Marketing.
In the 17 June 2026 DIFC hearing, Steven Ivankovich testified that Hand (ASR variants: Oliver / Ollie Hand) is director of maritime operations within the family office, oversaw the 2023 purchase, is a sea captain with decades of experience, prepared meeting minutes, coordinated with Casey Fleischman / Moore / manufacturer, and was scheduled to inspect the vessel in China with Jan Thorvaldsen. Visa delay preceded the ~$1.6M Contessa payment (26 May 2023). Hearing media locators are withheld from public pages (W2510 deposition hold).
Olafur William Hand (Oli Hand) is a named defendant in Stratmann v. Ivankovich et al. (S.D. Fla. 0:26-cv-61150). Public professional records list him as General Manager of Marine Operations at Contessa Marine (and formerly VP Marketing at Contessa Marine Research). Florida Sunbiz associates him with POOPSIE WALLAH LLC (L23000344513) at 1000 Brickell Ave, Suite 715, Miami — the same suite used on Contessa Marine Research filings.
Internationally, Hand has been the long-time spokesperson / public face and Communications & Marketing Manager for global shipping and logistics company Eimskip, including marine-operations communications. He was heavily involved in managing Eimskip’s communication strategy during major corporate investigations. The most notable was a multi-year anti-trust / market-competition investigation by the Icelandic Competition Authority (Samkeppniseftirlitið), which concluded in June 2021 when Eimskip agreed to a settlement and substantial corporate fine (ISK 1.5 billion / ~USD 12M) regarding historical competition-law violations (2008–2013). That settlement is a company-level resolution — not a personal finding against Hand — and is cited only as context for his communications role during the investigation era.
